Only the latest model fully electronic "card ready" commercial laundry machines can accept a smart card reader without a power interface module. The BridgePoint PowerPak Module provides two functions:

• Converts 110 Volt AC power to 12 Volt DC power to operate the Reader
• Provides the control interface between the reader and the machine by operating the timer-motor and other devices that control the laundry machine once the Reader has received the appropriate cycle price from the card.

The standard PowerPak will operate most machines manufactured in the past 10 years.
