HARDWARE DESCRIPTION
EntryPoint single door access system is the premier single-door stand-alone access control system available.
The system is available in single reader (entry) or dual reader (entry and exit) configurations.
EntryPoint combines powerful security features with ease-of-use that makes it comparable to networked systems.
Operates with government-issued CAC and PIV cards and secure "PIV Compatible" cards are also
available for temporary or non-government users.
EntryPoint readers are available in contact, contactless and dual-interface modes and can be configured
to require a PIN in the contact mode.
The system is ready to install "out-of-the-box" with no network to connect and only minimal
programming. Hardware components include the reader, controller and 25’ connecting cable. Installation is
limited to supplying 110 VAC power to the controller and connecting the reader and door lock device.
SOFTWARE DESCRIPTION
The EntryPoint system is managed by the EntryPoint Access Manager Software (AMS). AMS is a software
application that provides the basic functionality of systems costing many times more. Management cards
are used to export access information to and import audit information from the readers. Unlike other systems,
no hand-held computers are needed to perform this function.
Designed for government facilities seeking cost-effective access for small areas, the system is suited
for many different uses.
